The group is painting Friday mornings, at 7:30 - 8:00 am.

 

It is hard to get into the blog site.

On 6-6-13, we went to Lavender Hollow, in Escalon.

6-5-13 Cheryl & I joined the Valley Sun Catchers at Beekman's Honey Farm, in Hughson.

 

 

On May 14, we went to Jessie's Grove, in Lodi

We went to Knight's Ferry twice, 4-30 & 5-3.

 

The next bunch is April & back to where we left off in February.

Paint out, February 3

It was a beautiful day at the N. Tracy Blvd. location yesterday. There were six artist present, Charlotte, Jesus', Marie, Janet, Vince, and myself. My husband
came also, brought a chair and a book, and took some pics for us (attached). Vince's pic is from last time we were there.
The colors had changed just since we were there last time, and it was an afternoon sun. 

I passed out some notes on composition from Edgar Payne's book. I have attached the notes here too.

We are are talking about traveling to Lodi on Tues. Feb. 19th, weather/fog permitting. To paint, there are a couple of wineries in consideration.
If anyone wants to paint before Feb. 19th, please include me and let me know when and where.
