  1. What a great day. Frost bite on our nose and toes but it didnt matter. When you are doing art or what ever you were born to do everything else is insignificant. Every one around you is so focused not even the weather, cellphones, texts or a watch is an obstacle. Tunnel vision, the zone, your calling, it is a great blessing to experience this. Some people go their whole lives without ever experiencing that. If you can capture that feeling in your painting, you will be the greatest artist..

  2. We had a good time at such a pretty place too. We were in the "muse", weren't we! Muse: A state of meditation, to be absorbed in one's thoughts, a guiding spirit, a source of inspiration. I felt alone and with you all at the same time. I've got the commenting down, now I just have to figure out how to post photos on here. I don't see a "labels" button or "new post" button.

  3. We attempted to paint a barn in tracy today and didnt know plein air could lead to jail time. An art hating little portugese man told us we could not paint because we might be undercover department of agriculture agents with tattos and pochade boxes..lol anyways we moved on to The Rivers End Marina where we were welcomed by great employees who said we had an open invitation to paint any time.Another learning experience and now i know why plein air artist place a good price on their paintings. YOU MIGHT NEED IT TO GET BAILED OUT for trespassing !!! LOL
